Accessibility Statement
Introduction
The private brewery ERDINGER Weißbräu Werner Brombach GmbH endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the national legislation implementing EU Directive 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to the website: www.erdinger.de
1. Status of compatibility with the requirements
The accessibility requirements are based on Section 3 of BITV 2.0 in conjunction with Section 12d BGG and the technical requirements of EU standard EN 301 549. This in turn is based on the success criteria of WCAG 2.1, conformity level AA.
The website is partially accessible.
2. Non-accessible content
The following content on the website is not accessible or only partially accessible:-
1.1.1 Non-text content
Some graphic content does not have sufficient alternative text to describe it for screen reader users. -
1.3.1 Info and relationships
The semantic structure, e.g. headings and form labels, is not consistently correctly labeled, which means that assistive technologies cannot recognize important relationships. -
1.4.3 Contrast (minimum)
Text content and interactive elements have a contrast ratio that is below the required minimum of 4.5:1 in many places. -
2.4.1 Bypassing blocks
Mechanisms for skipping repeated content (e.g. main navigation) are not available or not implemented correctly. -
2.4.2 Providing pages with titles
Some pages do not have meaningful or clear page titles. -
3.1.1 Page language
The main language of the website is not correctly specified in the code, which may cause screen readers to use an incorrect language setting. -
3.2.2 On input
Some interactive elements react unexpectedly to user input, which can lead to unpredictable navigation. -
4.1.1 Syntax analysis
The source code contains syntactic errors (e.g. incorrect HTML tags) that may hinder processing by assistive technologies. -
4.1.2 Name, role, value
Interactive control elements (e.g. form elements, buttons) are not uniformly provided with programmatically recognizable names, roles and states. -
2.4.3 Focus order
The order in which interactive elements are accessed via keyboard focus is sometimes not logical Ort comprehensible. This makes it difficult for keyboard users to use.
- Some of the PDF documents on the website are not prepared in an accessible way. For example, they do not contain any tags, which limits their use with screen readers.
We are continuously working on reducing these barriers.
Note:The terms were taken from the official German WCAG translation: W3C – WCAG 2.0 auf Deutsch (autorisiert)
3. Creation of this declaration
This declaration was created on 15.05.2025. It is based on an actual assessment of a selection of pages on www.erdinger.de using automated testing procedures (EqualWeb Accessibility Crawler) and on a self-assessment.
